THE NAPLES BIG BAND ORGANIZATION

OUR MISSION IS TWO-FOLD

We are passionate about performing expertly-prepared live music that is not only pleasing to the ear, but also fulfills a dual mission:

  1. To promote, preserve, and perform American big band music.
  2. To financially support music education in area high schools.

We love to delight SWFL audiences with our outdoor concerts at Cambier Park in Naples and Riverside Park in Bonita Springs.

Donations collected during intermission help to offset performance costs, and the remainder are invested into our High School Music Education Program Annual Award fund which helps support music education in high schools.

CHANGING TIDES IN MUSIC

Music sure has changed through time, hasn't it? Today's youth are bombarded with electronically-produced entertainment and overly-synthesized music.

Sure, digital music has its place (and some of it even sounds pretty amazing), but wouldn't it be a crying shame to see live music in its purest form, with all of its beautiful imperfections, fizzle away as older generations of musicians age and depart?

Our hope is that, by helping the young musicians in our area, we might inspire them to be the best they can be. In the process, perhaps they'll hear how cool our "retro music" really is and join us on stage one day.

PARTNER WITH US

There are several ways to support our dual mission! Choose the option (or options) you like best:

  1. We invite you to simply attend concerts and invite lots of people!
  2. We welcome your donations during intermission at each concert. ($5.00 suggested donation per attendee.)
  3. Dedicate/Underwrite a concert in the name of a loved one or an organization.
  4. Sponsor a concert in the name of your business for exposure and marketing purposes.
  5. Send a tax-deductible donation in any amount by mail; tap the button below for our mailing address.
